Reviews: Half-Day Tour: A Taste of Paradise and History of Antigua
Guest User2024-05-27
This was such a great, relaxing and personalized tour. Michael picked us up right from our hotel lobby and the tour immediately began. We learned so much about the island, it's culture and saw quite a bit of the main sites. The tour was just the right length, we saw much for the car, and when there was time to see more, we got out and dived deeper into this islands heritage. Thank you Michael for a great half day tour, thank you for sharing your knowledge, for the drinks, the mango and pineapple and your time during this tour. I appreciated doing this early in our trip as I learned more about the island what else to do while we were there. Thank you.
Reviews: Adventure Antigua - Eli's Original Eco Tour

I’ve learned to manage expectations at cruise ports with guides who know very little about what they are showing you. This tour was very different. As background, I was a US National Park Ranger for 36 years, most of that stationed at a marine park in the subtropics. Dino gave a very thorough, accurate talk on sea turtle biology…clearly having done his homework. Mark led us through Hellsgate Island’s cave and up over the natural arch. What we did here was not hard, but would never be allowed in the US! I loved it! Captain David was personable and competent. What I most liked was how Dino, Mark and David worked together…like a well-oiled machine! They had their roles and played off one another beautifully. The lunch was quite good, and I very much appreciated the “real” plates and cutlery that reduced plastic waste. I wish the cups had not been disposable, but this was far better than most. Sadly, though the reef had considerable relief and was once likely grand, most of the hard corals were dead. The soft corals were doing better, but with climate change I fear dead reefs are more the norm than the exception. Next up for Dino and Mark is to learn more about the extremely prolific great white butterflies. They were everywhere at Guiana Island, but never mentioned. Ditto for the White-tailed tropic birds.
Reviews: Turtle Beach Power Snorkeling Adventure

We loved this power snorkeling tour! We were picked up in a clean, air conditioned van and brought to their location which is right near Galleon Beach. Got the overview of equipment and then walked across the street to the beautiful Galleon Beach. Our guide, Imran, was excellent. Pointed out turtles, stingrays, fish, eels, a wreck, etc. With going to the Pillars of Hercules, the power equipment made covering that distance very easy with still being able to view everything below you. Our guide took a ton of pictures so we did not need to bring our go-pro, etc. He was able to dive down and get great pictures of everything we saw. They give you a link to all the pictures which is included in the price. This tour was definitely the highlight of our trip to Antigua. Highly recommend.
Reviews: 6-Hours Tour East Coast of Antigua: Stingray City, Lunch & Beach
Guest User2024-08-15
We enjoyed every minute of this tour. Giuliana was amazing. She was our guide and chauffeur from start to finish - we were picked up from our hotel, went to the famous Betty Mill plantation. Giuliana was very knowledgeable on its history and in fact of the Island's history. We enjoyed the view at Devil's Bridge, then we went to the beach afterwards for an hour or so. We were then taken to a very authentic restaurant and enjoyed the local cuisine. Afterwards we went off to the Sting Ray beach. That was a great experience and the folks running the tour were very experienced with the sting rays and even had names for a few of them. We were dropped off back to the hotel - 6 hours flew by - great way to see and hear about the island.
