Reviews: From Reykjavik: Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach

Everything was perfectly planned, with plenty of time at each stop and a very well-paced schedule. The tour guide kept explaining and introducing things to us throughout the journey. We were also lucky enough to see the Northern Lights in the evening, which made the experience truly amazing. I highly recommend it!
Reviews: Iceland Skaftafell Glacier Day Tour [Multiple Routes Available: Glacier Hiking, Ice Climbing, Blue Ice Cave]

The experience was pretty good, but the blue ice cave we actually saw was a bit small. However, the scenery along the way was quite nice. Although hot chocolate was not provided, the tour guide was very professional and the staff at the counter were very patient in helping us. Overall it was very good!

Our tour guide, Miss Jin, was from Poland, but she was like a friendly girl next door, speaking fluent Chinese. The day's itinerary was very long, a full 15 hours. Jin explained Icelandic history and culture in detail, including the origins of each attraction, and meticulously arranged every aspect of our journey. Our driver, Alex, was from Spain, a very kind and simple young man. They worked hard all day to cover the distance, without even having time for a proper meal. When we returned to Reykjavik that night, he even helped me book a taxi back to the hotel from the pick-up point. Despite the 15-hour journey, we didn't feel tired at all; instead, we returned to the hotel in very good spirits. Looking forward to seeing you again!
Reviews: Jökulsárlón: Blue Ice Cave Tour and Glacier Walk
Guest User2026-02-03
This was an unparalleled trek on Vatnajökull Glacier. Walking on the ice, an endless expanse of ice stretched before us, the grey-blue or deep blue glaciers shimmering in the sunlight like a flowing blue starry sky. We marveled at the incredible artistry of nature. We explored several ice caves with the best local guide – breathtakingly beautiful! I especially loved our guide; his photography skills were superb, and he chose relatively easy sections of ice for our trek. We set off at sunrise and descended just before sunset. It was one of the most unforgettable days of my life. I believe that if you truly want to experience this glacial landscape, allow yourself ample time here; it will make your trip worthwhile. A big thank you again to our lovely and professional guide, who led us to a profound understanding of the Earth's antiquity and mystery.

Booking this on Trip.com provides a very good service. If you have any questions, you can directly give feedback to the customer service and get a timely reply. The group is an English group. Except that we are all foreigners, the tour guide is also a local tour guide. It is still difficult to walk on the glacier. The guide provided good professional guidance before the hike, the scenery was really beautiful but it was cold and the weather changed very quickly
