I booked this experience as a birthday gift for my husband, who is very interested in the galaxy. I contacted the organizers beforehand to let them know it was a surprise. We received explanations from an expert who was incredibly knowledgeable and spoke passionately about the stars and the universe. Our conversations were profound and very informative. Thanks to him, we discovered new things and were able to admire the stars and the moon through a telescope. The location in the middle of the desert, surrounded by mountains, made it even more magical. At the end, they even surprised my husband with a cake and a gift. I highly recommend this experience. It's unique, impressive, and carried out with such care and warmth. The team's hospitality, friendliness, and immense passion made it an unforgettable memory. We are incredibly grateful to them for this special evening. They also took beautiful photos of us.

The staff were friendly. The dhow we rode, as all the dhow in the harbour, did not have a sail (entirely motor powered) so not the “traditional” boat. Life jacket 100% obligatory entire cruise - same for all boats as I understand. The boat goes as far as the Muttrah Corniche but not round to Muscat city. Some small snacks and soft drinks available. Almost all passengers over age 60.


