This was the best decision we made for our trip. Alex was professional, funny and very knowledgeable about the Cayman Islands. This is different than the larger tour guides because Alex is able to actually catch a stingray for you to hold. He is patient, great with kids and fun! He's also a great teacher. This is worth the money. Don't even hesitate.

It was incredible, the stingrays are very docile and fun to swim around with. It was a little scary at first when you get in the water and these huge creatures are swimming by you and touching you, but then you get used to it and it is mind blowing. The guides made it very comfortable for us to swim with them as they were lifting the stingrays up and showing you that it was safe. When the guy held one of the stingrays up, a lot of the people in the group kissed it for seven years of good luck!! I highly recommend to go with these guides. They were awesome and kept us safe during the boat ride the whole time & in the water.

My driver/guide for this trip was Mr. Soni Liang, who was very humorous and talkative. He enthusiastically helped optimize the itinerary according to my travel plans and arranged unique and affordable local meals. I had a very fulfilling and satisfying day in Penang! We had an amazing experience cooking with Chef Samuel! He has a great set of recipes to choose from. Started at the market to select fresh ingredients. Then headed to his immaculate and well stocked kitchen to prep and cook with his guidance. He gave us lots of advice about techniques and explained the history and significance of the food. He freely answered all of our questions and was a genuine pleasure to spend time with. Once the cooking was done we got to enjoy the fruits of our labor in his beautiful dining area. We learned so much highly recommend Chef Samuel to anyone interested in learning about Malaysian food and cooking. We look forward to taking another class from him during our next visit to Georgetown!

We finished our itinerary around 3 PM, and afterwards they took us to sample famous local delicacies and drinks. We also had time to experience the local ferry service and discovered that it was very convenient to easily pull our luggage to the ferry terminal and transfer to the train – super convenient! The train station is right above the ferry terminal, so we didn't need to hire a car to cross the bridge to Butterworth.


