Reviews: Private (Nearly!) All of Dublin in 5 hours (Walking Tour)

Our guide for this tour was a fantastic host. We love learning about the history of places we visit and this walk about town did not disappoint. Despite the weather being quite soggy, we had a wonderful time and got to see much more than I expected over the course of the morning and afternoon. Much of what we learned about was focused on the events that happened in Dublin specifically, in particular the struggles for independence and the complexity of the politics of that time. We also got a proper introduction to Irish pubs, including why they are laid out the way they are and some lesser-known features such as the "snugs". Our guide also gave us an extensive list of recommended places to see beyond the tour, including museums, libraries, restaurants, and music venues. To escape the rain for a bit our guide took us through the National Gallery of Ireland, leading us through all of the highlights and explaining in detail the distinguishing features of many different works of art in there. Highly recommended!

This food tour was fantastic! We got to try a lot of delicious types of food and drinks with many we wish could have again right now. Our tour guide Lee was a perfect match for us and was very impressive especially regarding his knowledge of Dublin. He told many interesting stories and shared a passion for music. Highly recommend this tour!

It was incredibly interesting; the guide was fantastic and catered well to all participants. Even my youngest daughter, who doesn't speak English, was included. Highly recommended. It's best to start your visit to Dublin with the tour and then explore further on your own.
