Reviews: El Nido Tour A Iconic Lagoons & Island Escapes

The tour was great, tour guides are helpful, know their stuff, and funny as hell. Very entertaining. The places we visited are stunning but full of tourists as one would expect, nevertheless, it was beautiful. The highlight for me was the big lagoon. Our buffet lunch was yum, except for pancit. Getting from and to the boat to the island destination requires some physical stamina. Depending on the water level, most often we have to do a swim from the boat to the shore. So this tour might not be friendly for elderly, family with toddlers/babies, or people with disabilities. Otherwise, I would recommend. Kudos to the tour guides!

The tour went wonderfully. We were picked up from our hotel in the morning and taken to the pier. There were 16 of us, but no one was in anyone's way. A really fun team! The guys were fantastic. Hippy explained everything clearly and humorously. They didn't rush us to the location; they waited for everyone. We had a fantastic lunch, and some monitor lizards even stopped by for a snack on the island. We were lucky with the weather and were able to see and visit all the lagoons and islands, and see all this beauty! Thanks to the trip and the whole team! I recommend it.

This trip is not suitable for older people. Access to all locations is by water, over rocks and reefs. All of this is very challenging. You have to climb through a hole in the rock to get to the secret spot; everything is very slippery. There are no safety measures whatsoever. And then there are the fees all day long: if you want to swim, you have to pay, if you want a mask, you have to pay. The places are certainly beautiful and a must-see, and I've written down all the details. Buying a tour through TripCom is a bit more expensive than buying it on the street. The street price is always fixed at 1,200 pesos. But there are advantages: buying with a card instead of double currency exchange.

Great tour with a group of ~18 people. The guide contacted me the day before our tour to clarify the meeting spot, time and further information of participants. We walked with the staff to the beach and help to rent aqua shoes, snorkeling gear (which are not included in the package). There is the environmental fee of 200PHP/person to pay separately as well. The environmental fee is available for 5 days. Therefore, I would recommend to keep a contact with the agency to get the ticket if you need it for other water activities. The tour itself was great, we went did few stops on a beach with fine sand, snorkeling spots, kayaking (additional fee). The view is incredible and the sun hits really hard. Don't forget to apply sunscreen frequently. We had lunch on a beach as well around 1:45pm. We came back to El Nido port around 5pm.
