Reviews: 3-Nights Cruise From Aswan To Luxor, Hot Air Balloon and Abu Simbel

We booked the 4‑day/3‑night Nile River cruise through Trip.com, and our local agent was Fayrouz Egypt Travel Company, with Ahmed as our tour operator. He was excellent—communication was smooth, responses were always prompt, and he checked in with us at the end of each day to make sure everything was going well. We truly appreciated that level of care.
The tour price included the river cruise as well as guided visits to all the “must‑see” cultural and historical sites in Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Luxor. We were especially delighted that the tour also included Abu Simbel Temples and a hot‑air balloon ride in Luxor.
All pick‑ups and drop‑offs were smooth and clearly communicated.
The local guides were very good—especially Ahmed Eltayeb in Luxor and Ahmed Awad in Aswan. Both were very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Our drivers, Mohamed (Luxor) and Said (Aswan), drove carefully and smoothly, and we felt very safe with them throughout the trip.★

First, be aware that tour companies don't contact you until the last minute. As a result, I ended up canceling the tour I booked through ****** and rebooking through Trip.com. Regarding the items requiring payment on-site, the information listed on the website differed from what the tour company told me when I got there. Thanks to persistent negotiation and evidence, I was able to get the payment waived, but it's important to save the link and take screenshots. While other participants also had various issues, the places we visited were amazing. It's important to consider these issues as a valuable part of your Egypt trip and allow yourself time to enjoy it. If you can't afford it, I recommend a guided tour rather than a local tour. This tour involved meeting the guide at each ruin.★

Our TUI agent Mohammed Adel and our Egyptology guide Kamal were absolutely outstanding. We chose to go on several evening and day trips with them which were hassle free. We very much enjoyed Kamal’s expert commentaries and historical explanations and we were impressed by the comfortable and swift rides between the different attractions and historical destinations, the delicious lunches included and the overall efficiency and care taken by everyone to ensure that we had wonderful experiences.★

First of all, I'm 100% satisfied. I was a little worried because there weren't many Koreans there and there wasn't much information, but they sent a car to the hotel and even took me back. I received a massage at a spa called Cleopatra. The quality of the massage was so good that I think of Egypt when I think of massage. I didn't go to the spa, just the massage. I highly recommend it. It's a great way to blow away all the fatigue.
