The driver will introduce you the specifics of the tour after which the tour commences with a drive through the Viennese Forest and first stop Melk Abby.
Attractions and Activities: Melk Abbey (At your own expense) After arriving to Melk, introduce yourself to the history of almost one thousand years old Benedictine Abbey. Overlooking the town of Melk, the impressive baroque-style Abbey is a home of the famous library and a final resting place of Saint Coloman, the patron saint of Austria. During the visit, you can also explore the Abbey church and the garden pavilion. We will offer you a photo break opportunity at Lake Wolfgang at the town of Sankt Gilgen. Upon arrival, independently explore UNESCO protected Old Town, Mirabell Palace Gardens used as a filming location for popular "Sound of Music" movie and do-re-mi song or catch a spectacular view of the city from the Hohensalzburg fortress.
