Reviews: Full-Day Osorno Volcano and Petrohue Falls Small-Group Tour

My family loved this tour for our weekend in Puerto Varas! Ricardo and our driver are very experienced and knowledgeable on the Parque Nacional Vicente Perez Rosales. Petrohue Falls, Todos los Santos lake and Osorno Volcano were spectacular! We were grateful for a fairly clear day with minimal rain. There were clouds over Osorno, but some sunshine too. The next day we were excited for spectacular views of Osorno from Puerto Varas and Frutillar (where we visited on our own). Ricardo speaks very good English. Bring 6,000 CLP/person for boat ride; buffet lunch is also extra, very good meal that you can pay for with credit card. Lovely day! Very responsive too, I accidentally left my hat and mittens in the van and the driver came back to return them to me which was very kind!

Convenient tour to see the main attractions around puerto varas. Collected on time from hotel. First stop was the waterfalls (extra cost to enter ( approx $7.50 for non Chileans) Next stop the lake (again extra cost for a boat trip) I opted to not do the boat tour and walked along the shore of the lake which was lovely with the same views. Next stop lunch at a restaurant (approx $15 dollars) if you have lunch with you you can eat it on picnic tables. Final stop the volcano (again optional extra for chair lift up another 200 meters) the second chair lift was closed to go higher. I opted to walk to the view points. Good tour to see the sites, punctual timings and informative tour guide. I would recommend.

The optional excursion from Puella is fabulous. The lunch too was amazing. Whole day was extremely well spent.

Great tour. Our guide Jenny was great, explained everything in English and Spanish to our very international tour. Highly recommend.

A great experience; the safari tour, which includes a lagoon and another boat trip, is an extra charge, but well worth it. However, if you're just visiting for the day, you only have 3-4 hours to explore Peulla. If you enjoy hiking, the trails are another way to spend those hours; the silence is breathtaking. There are only a couple of food options at the hotel. If you're looking for snacks, you'll have to get them from the catamaran or the shop at Puerto Petrohue.
