It’s a must do part of a trip to thai city. It was a highlight and a perfect trip around the sites of Buenos Aires. A comfortable bus, hop on and off as many times. We saw everything!

This is our first trip to Argentina and Buenos Aires. Sometimes when you walk off the plane your first experience sets the tone for the rest of your trip. In all our travels the magic began when we met Howard Neil Crowston. From the moment we met him we knew had the #1 tour guide in all the region. He was generous with his time, knowledgeable about the city (and beyond) and we literally learned so much even before we checked into our hotel. His detailed descriptions of the city, his knowledge of the famous cemetery/landmarks/city history/museums and his willingness to accommodate our needs is really exceptional. We even hired him for a tour yesterday and today! I can’t imagine anyone who’s better than Howard and we’ve had some amazing personal tours in our around the world.★

Pablo was fantastic. A friend of mine tipped me off that there happened to be a grill festival going on the day that I was touring (feria de perrillas), and Pablo arranged our itinerary to include a trip out to make it happen. He's experienced enough that he made sure we got there early before the crowds got too crazy (the value of having a native Porteño), and indeed it was already getting pretty packed by the time we left.
The rest of the itinerary was a balance of touristic attractions and food stops as I wanted to eat as much of BA as I could.
To get around in the first part of the day (the festival was ~10 miles out from the center of the city), Pablo arranged a driver for transport... the driver (Fabian) turned out to sort of act as a second tour guide as we visited the Central Market.
Afterwards, Fabian dropped us off back in town where we continued hitting some of the more standard tourist sites (at my request, figuring I should at least see these during my short trip). We saw the Recoleta Cemetery (Pablo could have filled hours with history and stories), stopped at a cafe for some mate, made another stop for empanadas/fugazetta/fainá, and another cafe stop from some coffee and alfajores. We walked by other sites, and finally made our way back to my hotel pretty much exactly on time.
