On March 9, 2026, we took our booked excursion. Everything was exactly as described. The guide was from Austria and lives there. He was very easy to understand and explained everything superbly throughout the entire tour. We received a great deal of information and can highly recommend this guide.★

Luis is an excellent guide; the canal tour was a highlight of our Costa Rica tour. During our morning tour, we not only saw many birds, monkeys, caimans, and iguanas—which he explained wonderfully—but he also told us a lot about the history and life in Tortuguero. Since we were traveling by canoe, we were able to navigate through canals that seemed almost magical and mystical. Definitely recommended!★

This entire tour was very fun! The two tour guides that drove us around were very funny, nice and very informative. I loved the zip lining ! The guide made me and my wife feel safe while on the zip line and gave us cool info about the animals and plants around . After the zip lining we went to an area where they grow bananas, have different plants like ackee, coca chocolate and other fruit plants . Then went on a boat tour where we seen different birds , baby crocodiles , ate fruits off the trees , spoke with a guy who was fishing for blue crabs . 10/10
