Reviews: Cartagena: City Sightseeing Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Extras
Guest User2025-12-27
We do the have done city sightseeing buses in other cities as a family so we decided to do it in Cartagena. The audio guide was definitely informative and we appreciated the flexibility of hopping off/on the bus in the heat. But Cartagena is pretty small and we could easily have walked to all the sights the route covers. We realized we already had walked to most of them. We did appreciate the walking tours and the flexibility of using the bus the next day sine it only runs from 9am to 3 pm. Definitely recommend.

We had an amazing time with Arthur as we explored and learned about Columbia. He was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and put his heart and soul in the tour from beginning to end

Nice day in the mangroves. Everything went smooth from the pick-up to the tasty coconut at the end. Also, the fishing and the crab hunting was lots of fun. I recommend adding this. This tour is definitely one of my Cartagena highlights.
Reviews: Full Day Tour from Cartagena through Barranquilla and Santa Marta
Guest User2024-06-21
The tour takes a complete day and you will ended it up exhausted. If is a 4h drive back to Cartagena once it ends. They provide you with a breakfast (arepa de huevo) in Barranquilla and simple basic lunch at a local humble hotel in Santa Marta. No food allergies are taken into consideration just be mindful of it. You get a brief visit to Barranquilla, where you can take photos with the city letters name and a couple of monuments. Once in Santa Marta we got an amazing tour and information about their historic city, photos at the city letter name and visit their museum. Finally they take you to the beach which unfortunately is not quite planned nor explained, basically, you get there and have around 2.5 hours on your own. The bus was comfortable and it had great AC on. On our way back we had issues with a flat tire which delayed the return for about 40 minutes. The guides were informative and fun. We got to meet many people from several countries which is always nice. If you only have one day, I would say to do it but if you want to know a little bit more about Barranquilla or stay longer in Santa Marta's beaches, you may need to look for another tour.
Reviews: Cartagena: Artisanal fishing through the mangroves

Absolutely fantastic! Lemy was a truly wonderful guide; my wife, son, and I loved it. The island visit was also excellent. We had a really great time, even better than I expected. Taking the transport doesn't cost much more, which is really appreciated because it's not easy to find, I think.
