There are many medieval castles in the Loire Valley, among which Chambord and Chenonceau are known as the "king and queen". However, Leonardo da Vinci died before the construction of the castle began. According to legend, the actual planning and construction of the castle was led by the King of France himself. Chenonceau Castle is a castle built on the water. It is considered by many people to be the "white moonlight" among the many castles in the Loine Valley.This castle is also known as the "Women's Castle" because it was once inhabited by many queens, concubines and noble ladies of many kings, leaving behind many romantic (dog-blood) stories.
