We learned many surprising facts and much detail about olive oil production from our pleasant and knowledgeable english-speaking guide. The facility is located in breathtakingly beautiful Jaén province, which has olive orchards as far as the eye can see. The Picualia mill is a huge cooperative of local growers. It is an immense, technologically advanced, and spotless facility that produces superb olive oil that is both cherished locally and enjoyed throughout the globe. The tour's finale is an informative tasting experience. Highly recommended.

A very interesting tour, where a clear explanation was given about the different types of olives and the methods of planting and harvesting. The difference in olive oil quality was also clearly explained. We were even able to see the harvesting live, which was also nice to see. The lunch served exceeded expectations; we had a delicious meal at a restaurant 15 minutes from the orchard. All in all, a very nice experience.


