Reviews: Barcelona: Montserrat Tour, Transfers & Basilica Entry

The trip was amazing and our guide Marc was the best!! 🥳 He gave us a lot of information, but was not overwhelming, he explained everything very carefully, so that everyone understands and he gave us some good tips. The views, the walk on the mountain, everything perfect. Totally worth it!

Being in the monastery before the crowds were wonderful. The subsequent hike was even more beautiful than expected. However, it is challenging.
Reviews: Barcelona: Montserrat Monastery and Natural Park Guided Tour

Alan was brilliant! We had tremendous day exploring the monastery plus natural areas. Everything worked smoothly throughout the day, and Alan moved seamlessly from English to French, keeping everyone involved. The monastery’s history is fascinating, and the building lovely - even saw the Black Madonna with no line. But the highlight was the natural setting - the Needles came out from the clouds to stun is all. Then we rode the cog car up and walked all over! Yes, it’s a long walk down, but nothing too hard (just a lot). And well worth it! A marvelous day!!

Reviews: Forbidden City,Treasure Museum Small Group Tour (Optional English,Spanish,Russian Guide)
Guest User2026-02-06
The tour includes an entrance ticket to the Forbidden City and the Treasure Museum. Your ticket is tied to your passport! Don't forget it. There were 10 of us in our group. Entry through the main southern gate was quick. Pick up your bag for the morning after 9 a.m. The tour lasts about 4 hours. The grounds are so vast that you won't be able to see everything. We visited all the main halls and the gates leading to them, the chambers of Empress Dowager Cixi, the Treasure Museum, and exited through the North Gate. Unfortunately, no one is allowed inside the halls, and it's difficult to see much through the half-open doors and dirty glass. The Treasure Museum was incredibly crowded, so we couldn't get a good look. Chinese New Year was probably a factor. The tour was well organized. Our guide, Alina, was very responsive and helped us not only with the tour but also with other pressing questions. However, I personally missed more detailed historical facts (which is why I took the tour, as audio guides often fail during independent exploration).
