It snowed with grade 4 wind. Visibility is poor even at Erdaobaihe. Hence all activities at Changbaishan are closed. Out of 10 activities only the Rime rafting and 1172 event can be fulfilled. The travel agent couldn't find enough experienced driver for us. We had the replacement driver who knows almost nothing of the attractions. I am glad I asked for suggestions of other activities, the driver is helpful and pleasing, he contacted the travel agent and recommended a few other activities for us, such as the ATV ride in the snow forrest, flying ride to view the Changbaishan and others as well. Of all, we really enjoyed the Rime rafting, our favourite, and ATV ride. Thank you for the doing your best. We received the agreed refund as detailed in the itinerary through Trip.com. I feel that Changbaishan is better view in Spring or Summer. Winter stands lesser chance due to the weather. With >Grade 3 wind speed, the Heaven Lake is closed. Other activities nearby are worth the trip.★

The one-day camp in the primeval forest at Shuangxi Forest Camp in Changbai Mountain was truly amazing! A friend had told me about the fun activities at this camp, and after experiencing it, I can confirm it was excellent.
First, let me describe the natural environment of the forest camp. Located in a primeval forest, it felt completely different from the moment I entered. There are many ice fishing parks and other recreational camps in town, but none compare to the pristine state of Shuangxi Forest Camp. Towering trees and the camp's buildings, fences, and facilities blend seamlessly into the forest environment. The forest shelters played a crucial role during the day's activities; for every hour spent outdoors, you could warm up inside within 10 minutes. So, whether hiking in the forest or ice fishing, it wasn't cold at all. The camp leader was very experienced and shared many interesting stories about life and production in the mountains. The children had never heard these stories before, never gathered firewood together in a large forest to light a campfire, and city kids had never even seen a fire before. It was my first time seeing various trees and fungi, finding volcanic rocks that float on water, happily digging snow caves, ice fishing, and experiencing the joy and excitement of catching fish. The stone-grilled meat we had for lunch was incredibly delicious. We had free time in the afternoon, and everyone was reluctant to leave the campsite. The day went by too quickly; we didn't get enough time!
We were a little disappointed that we didn't see Tianchi Lake, but luckily we were amazed by this primeval forest day camp. We didn't have to queue at the tourist attractions, and after a whole day of fun, we didn't feel cold at all. The two deer at the campsite were incredibly cute and affectionate, following us into the forest and chasing after us for food. Snow sledding, digging snow caves, making ice sculptures—everything in the forest was new and exciting for both adults and children. A highly recommended day.★

The whole is better, that is, I was six or seven minutes late and didn't wait for the car. It cost 50 euros more and took another tour group car to catch it. This is also a personal reason. The tour guide of another tour group is very cute and patiently took me to the group. The whole trip is good! Beautiful scenery!★

Our trip was great but the real highlight was our guide Renate, she was brilliant! Unfortunately when we got up First it was a complete white out and the glider and flyer that my teenagers were really keen to do were not operating. Renate gave us some other options and we were sledding on Männlichen in no time instead. We were lucky on that day we were the only people on the tour so we had our own personal tour guide. Renate got our alternate activity organised, helped us rent the sleds and got us on all our trains and buses on time. Absolute champion. Thanks for a great day.
