Reviews: Hokkaido Nature Tour: Zoo, Flower Fields & Blue Pond

This trip was fantastic. First, our tour guide, Xiaoyu, was incredibly patient, helping every tourist who needed assistance. Throughout the trip, she tirelessly shared many interesting local history and cultural stories, which I, as a tourist, listened to attentively and found very helpful and informative. She also patiently guided us through the meeting points and ensured safety, providing excellent service. Second, the driver's skills were superb. Despite the challenging driving conditions in the icy and snowy conditions, he still managed to get everyone to our destination safely and on time. Thank you both for your hard work; the entire trip was excellent, and I would definitely choose Xiaoyu again next time.

Our tour guide, Xiaoyu, was so nice!! During the bus trip, we learned a lot about Hokkaido's history, which was very interesting! She also gave detailed introductions to Hokkaido's highlights and recommended routes, especially the zoo! We were so lucky to get incredibly close to the penguins first!!! The overall tour was amazing, with all the attractions being incredibly beautiful đŸ©” Perfect for travelers from Sapporo who can't drive but want to see distant sights!! I have so many wonderful memories!

Reviews: Hokkaido Asahiyama Zoo Day Trip | Zoo Tickets Included | Small Group of 13 (Optional) with Door-to-Door Pickup and Drop-off Service

The itinerary was the opposite of what was advertised. The first stop was Shikisai-gaoka, passing by a roller coaster—you couldn't see anything unless you were in the driver's seat. The Shikisai-gaoka stop was about an hour and twenty minutes. The second stop was Aoike, a small pond, where we stayed for half an hour. The third stop was Shirahige Falls, a viewing bridge over a ditch—literally, a waterfall, but more like a few streams cascading into the ditch—where we stayed for twenty minutes. These stops were very close to each other, making the drive very short. Finally, at around 1:20 pm, we arrived at Farm Tomita, where we stayed for an hour and forty minutes, concluding our tour at 3:00 pm and heading home. Overall, Shikisai-gaoka and Farm Tomita are worth a visit. You can admire the vibrant sea of flowers and experience the vastness and tranquility of the Hokkaido countryside. Not only are the scenery stunning, but you can also savor the sweetness of local honeydew melons and delicacies enhanced by lavender. The driver-guide remained mostly silent throughout the trip, but the route was well-planned, allowing ample time to explore all four attractions. The downside was that the country roads were too bumpy. The nine-person group was riding in a Toyota Hiace and drove for two and a half hours. The narrow space made the riding experience poor.
