Reviews: Authentic Pasta & Pizza Cooking Class with Sorrento Coast Pickup

This was a once in a life time cooking class in a private home. The home has the most amazing view of the sea where you prepare your pasta and pizza. Highly recommend!

Making the dough. Francesco and his daughter were amazing. His teen age daughter stole the show and all our hearts and she navigated us through our “amateur” dough making with humor and wit. Eating in their family home/farm, trying their wine and lemoncello was such a fun experience. I would highly recommend this to couples, families, and friends. A highlight of our trip. Listening to Francesco’s back story on how they arrived to this lovely spot to do this. His daughters, and wife were all amazing. Super wonderful family and accommodating. And, their little pup was a delight.

Great way to spend a couple of hours. Staff were knowledgeable and really good fun. Pizza was excellent, and nice sitting eating it and chatting with others. Great family fun!
Reviews: Hands-On Italian Cooking Class with Local Sorrento Chef

Wonderful experience all around. Rafaella, our instructor, was delightful, fun, and also a very skilled and knowledgeable teacher. Everything was already very organized so that we could spend most of our time on the cooking skills. She taught us how to make ravioli, calzone, fabulous eggplant parmigiana, meatballs with a tangy sauce, and even a dark chocolate orange almond cake! She gave us very practical tips on how we could riff on the recipes to make a lot of different dishes; we came away confident that we could make them at home. And our luncheon began with tasty starters she had already prepared, a nice bottle of wine was provided with the meal, and ended with homemade limoncello. The cooking school facility has been renovated beautifully with plenty of room and top notch modern appliances but in a charming environment in a cellar of an old stone villa. This class was pure class!

What a fabulous cooking class! We chose the meat menu and made delicious beef meatballs with the sweetest most beautiful red sauce, accompanied by home made gnocchi as puffy and light as a cloud and we also made tiramisu for dessert! We had a fabulous time and would recommend this to anyone looking for a cooking class in Sorrento! Great wine too! Tony and Emmanuel were both fantastic, friendly and funny! 😀

Rubina and Alessandra were just wonderful, gracious guest. Pay the extra money for them to pick you up at your hotel, it allows time to get to know them first. Upon arriving at Alessandra'a home you are taken to a balcony with breathtaking views. After some Prosecco and appetizers we started our course. They both made us feel very comfortable. It didn't feel like a class, more like friends being together. But, we learned so much. So many little techniques. (We like to cook and eat!). We made Bruschetta, Ravioli (and even a fried Ravioli), Gnocchi And tiramisu. They follow up the class with pictures, videos and recipes. But it's the techniques you learn and the memories that make the class worth it I highly recommend booking with Alessandra.
