On this white-water rafting tour, you'll experience the wild Simme River in the idyllic Bernese Oberland. The rapids of the Simme are safe and perfect for families, school groups, and corporate outings. Each boat is staffed with a professional guide who will lead your group safely down the wild river.
If you book the tour from Interlaken, your guide will meet you at the provider's base in Wilderswil. If you join at Därstetten, the meeting point is at Därstetten train station. In this case, please arrive 45 minutes after the booked start time at the station.
Initially, you'll receive an introduction to rafting and a brief safety overview from your guide. Afterwards, all participants will be equipped with the proper gear and can change in the cabins. The journey takes you down the beautiful Simme River. You will spend approximately 1:30 to 2:00 hours on the river until you arrive in Därstetten. The river features Class II-III white water. The rafting tour ends in Därstetten, from where you'll be transported back to your starting point.
Practical Information:
- Swimming skills are advantageous but not required
- Bring: swimwear, a towel, and a small daypack
- You can choose your meeting point at either Interlaken or Därstetten. Please note that the Därstetten meeting point is 45 minutes later than the booked start time.
- The main language is English. Guides also speak at least one additional language, such as German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.
