Your journey starts at OUTDOOR - Interlaken Base, Industriestrasse 17, 3812 Wilderswil

The Lütschine is an incredible river for experienced rafters, offering fantastic rapids, and it's perfect for brave beginners and adrenaline junkies looking for some adventure.

After the initial briefing, you'll put on your swimwear and the rafting gear. Then, you'll ride with your guide for about 20 minutes to the start of the rafting area. Here, the guide will give a brief training on river rafting techniques and safety instructions for paddling.

The stunning turquoise-gray waters of the Lütschine feature fast currents of whitewater classes III-IV and roaring water that will carry you from Lütschental to Lake Brienz. You'll be on the river for approximately 3 hours in total.

At the end of the route, you'll reach Lake Brienz, where you can take a swim. After this wild experience, you'll be driven back to the rafting base to relax with a nice drink. You'll also have the chance to view digital photos taken by a professional photographer on a large screen.

Practical Information:

  • Bring along: swimsuit, towel, a small bag with the essentials, money for photos and souvenirs
  • Photographer will join
  • Safety kayaker will accompany the tour
  • Good physical condition is necessary, as you'll need to paddle the entire distance
  • Maximum 8 guests and 1 guide per boat
  • Main language is English, but the guides also speak at least one more language like German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.
