Really great way to see the city … Horie has a lot of knowledge about the history of Romania and the architecture of the city. Lovely ‘coffee’ break and bike were in condition. Safe route round the city
Reviews: Danube Delta - Private Tour with Boat Trip & Traditional Lunch
Guest User2025-07-05
The midweek trip to the Danube Delta was a great experience, one that justifies our 10-day visit to Romania on its own. The water tour started slowly, but as we delved deeper into the Delta, the variety of wildlife, especially birds, increased significantly. Many lived in colonies, some intermingling with others, and some not. We saw turtles and water snakes. We ate on an island with the lunch served by a family for whom the Delta is home. Alin, our host, provided us with a wealth of information. We highly recommend the experience.
Reviews: Sinaia and Brasov in one day

We booked a tour in Hebrew and travelled comfortably in a tourbus with A/C, led by tour guide Alex (great guy with lots of humour). After going with the cabin cable car to the mountain tops near Sinaia (which was extremely foggy that day) and afterwards checking out beautiful Peles castle we went to the so-called Dracula castle in Bran. Instead of going for a tour in the Bran castle itself we decided to explore the local market to shop some local crafts and do a round in a chamber of horrors (way more creepy than the castle). The day finished with our last stop in the amazing city of Brasov (Kronstadt), were we could explore the old city and see witness to it's long history of a place where Germans, Hungarians and Romanians - Christians and Jews - came together. The local synagogue was unfortunately already closed for Shabbat that day, would have been nice to see its interior and design. However, we finished with a nice meal in a local restaurant. What we liked about doing this tour with this agency was the uncomplicated communication with the agency via WhatsApp. They took care of the fact that we are following a vegan diet and helped u with recommendations. One hint: if you go to a Romanian restaurant and say you are vegan it doesn't mean you will be served fully vegan since people often don't understand the concept. Instead tell them that you are fasting and they will serve you only plant-based food.
Reviews: From Bucharest: Slănic Prahova Salt Mine Ticket and Transfer

It is a must place to visit! The feeling down there is so calming that you don’t think that you are on -217 meters. The tour is 2 hours to stay and walk around. We bought a coffee and strolled and had a lot of places to sit. There are activities inside but I don’t think if you are with a group it is wise to go in the planetarium. Inside there is a place where you can buy salt and spices but there is also a street market next to the bus station.
