The bus ride was great, the train journey was interesting, but as it was cloudy, the views from the top weren't very nice. However, it's possible to walk along some lovely trails from the top and have a nice picnic.★

This walking tour was lead by Annemarie and she started the tour by covering a brief overview of the tour and safety brief.
We heard historic information as well as stories about famous Swiss leaders and innovators. It was interesting, informative and mixed with a comfortable amount of walking I between landmarks and monuments.
Although Anne was excellent, there were a few points in the tour where it was a bit difficult to hear. The tour might consider the benefit of adding hearing assistance when the group is larger.

First of all, a quick shoutout to the tour organizer, who told our guide to wait for us at one place and told us to wait for her at another place. Thankfully, we were able to contact her via phone and we started the tour without incident. That little hiccup aside, the tour was excellent! Vanessa gave us a great 2+ hour tour of the Old Town, stopping at highlights such as the Fraumunster and the Grossmunster, but also the fountains, important historic sites (where Zurich women saved the city from invading forces), vestiges of a Roman bath, and a panoramic view of the river. We also learned a lot about life in Switzerland. To top it off, Vanessa shared some Swiss chocolates with us to finish our tour. This was a great way to spend a free morning we had in town!★

I think it was a great value for the money. If you only have one or few days is really worth it. Also there’s plenty of time in each place so you don’t need to rush. Definitely I recommend it
