Reviews: Vienna: Johann Strauss Dinner Show at the Prater
Guest User2026-01-09
Starting from the beginning: They open a little early, and considering the cold, that's a very positive note. During the show, the waiters are stationary, but unfortunately, when the violinist plays at the end, there's no respect left and the waiters rush everywhere. The dinner was very good, with generous portions, but not gourmet. The show was very nice, the dancers weren't exceptional, but they did a good job of choreography. The presenter, the conductor, was a great entertainer, but the real surprise was the violinist at the end, capable of giving meaning to the entire event. It's worth paying the ticket just to hear him play; he was fun, engaging, and excellent. A negative note is the cloakroom service, entrusted to completely inexperienced kids who created confusion, and they gave us two numbers that weren't ours. They treated ermine furs like they were Zara coats and Dior bags thrown on the floor. Don't bring backpacks; they're not allowed in, and cloakroom service is expensive and mandatory. A great idea.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Maria was lovely and so informative, and as the only ones in the group this time of year, we had her knowledge all to ourselves. She answered all our questions and gave us lots of recommendations. Would highly recommend. If there was a score above 5, we would give it.

Superb wine tasting and natural history. The nibbles complimented the wine nicely, but just wish there was more wine! hehe!

As I am profoundly deaf from birth and thanks to a new cochlear Implant , I now enjoy Mozart’s amazing music ! I enjoyed the visual effects of the show ! Great performance and presentation.

The food was explained and very nicely accompanied. It was delicious. The surprise at the end was especially lovely.
