Reviews: Sharm 5-in-1 Desert Safari: Quad, Camel Ride, Dinner & Stargazing

I was contacted by Zizo the guide as soon as I arrived in Sharm and he kept me well up to date with the planning for pick up. We were picked up from our hotel and it took approx 20mins to arrive at the safari. We were surprised that we had to pay and extra 1£$€ on arrival, but locally we had cash on us (they do take card). You then head into the desert on quads, first stop is camel rides where you can have a tea for free. Soda and water at this stop is an extra cost. You then quad to the entertainment, which is a belly dancer, a traditional dancer and a firer dancer. We were then served a very tasty BBQ which you can have a free soda with and there was enough food to fill everyone. Shesha’s and non-alcoholic cocktails can be ordered to have with your entertainment. Then onto a dark spot where you can star gaze and use the telescopes. Zizo the guide came into his own at this point and his knowledge on the starts was very good. He was able to answer multiple questions asked by people on the tour. You then head back to base where your transport will be waiting to take you back to the hotel. We got back around 22:30. Summary; We had done something very similar in Dubai which may have been done better, but it was at a much higher cost so I would say you get what you pay for and due to the low cost it is certainly value for money and deserves the 5 stars

Amazing views and it a snorkelling in the Blue Hole was a great experience. However I expect more time around the Blue hole than shopping in Dahab. All in all a good experience

We booked this trip to ride a horse on here primarily for my children with the hope of being able to also ride a camel at the same time as I am for too heavy to ride a horse myself as I am 20st. However when I got there I realised it was either go to a horse stable or go to a camel stable. Two different places. We ended up going to the horses as this is what my children wanted to do and as the price was so cheap I didn’t mind not riding. I along with my wife walked along while my 4 year old boys riding by themselves without anyone needing to hold the reins. The horses were so well behaved and calm around us. At the end the man gave the boys the opportunity to feed the horses and my boys loved it feeding them sugar cubes. He also wanted to take photos to sell to us but when we said we wasn’t bothered as we already had our cameras he didn’t mind and put his camera away. We tipped him and he was very happy.
