The organizers were great, but the tour itself wasn't very organized. We booked it because we were supposed to return at 2:00 PM, but we actually arrived at 3:10 PM, and spent about two hours in the gorge itself. Lunch could have been omitted; no one in the group really ate it anyway. A complete waste of time.★

Balagezong is a highly recommended stop on any Yunnan trip. It's not overly commercialized, and the overall tourist experience is excellent. From the 1700-year-old Bala Village and the Echo Wall to the Shangri-La Grand Canyon, everything is breathtaking. Balagezong is a place that offers more memorable experiences than just sightseeing, and it's definitely worth a visit.★

The tour was nice, we saw beautiful places but the guide was not speaking english at all. The first stop to see the bend of the river was not done. We had to pay some extras for wearing local costumes and riding horses around Napa area. If you don’t pay, then you have 2 hours free but there is nothing much to do around except pictures with horses. But the meal was included with local food and a dance show. At the end, it was a nice day but don’t expect to learn information about the places you will see if you don’t speak chinese.★

I had an amazing experience visiting Tiger Leaping Gorge with Aether tours. Our tour guide Emily was very friendly and incredibly helpful throughout the entire trip. She made sure everything was smooth and well organized.
A special thanks to our driver, 七林, who went above and beyond for us. He always arrived early, helped us with everything we needed，and even more! He assisted in buying tickets, helped us order food along the way to Shangri-La, and was always there when we needed support.
Really appreciate both Emily and 七林 for making this trip so memorable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!★

The first time I took the elderly to Lijiang and Shangri-La, the local air was very good. Although the temperature was cold and dry, the sun was warm during the day. The staff of the tour guide company contacted me with WeChat and introduced the tour guide Andy. He was familiar with the local attractions and introduced a lot of history, local culture and so on in English. Before leaving Shangri-La, remind us of the possible alpine reaction, pay attention and bring oxygen cylinders; According to our need to take us to the authentic, reasonable store, tour guide Andy for time management, communication with us is good and easy; also take care of the elderly, such as the car, the temperature of the car box, the speed is stable, etc. This journey is very happy and satisfied.
