I recently spent the day on the Gourmet Food & Wine tour from Queenstown. Alan was an excellent guide and driver. It was a small group of 3 people plus Alan. We visited a good selection of 4 wineries and lunch was included. It was nice to chauffeured around giving us time to view the spectacular scenery as well as being picked up and dropped off back at our hotels. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are visiting Queenstown.

Due to heavy clouds this Saturday morning, 21March2026, from Auckland to QTN, I communicated with Andrew of my flight situation. Instead of 8am arrival in QTN, due to heavy clouds, the AIRNZ flight was diverted to Christchurch for refuelling. It left CHC to QTN and just in time for the 12o’clock check in with the Wine Tour. The driver Ty was an excellent tour guide and accommodating. Lots of musical and singing along the way. We visited various wineries which I enjoyed together with other members. Last stop on the way to the city centre was an amazing outlook of lake Whakatipu. Wow!! Well done this wineries tour!
