We all really enjoyed it , the skipper of the boat peter was very polite and courteous, explaining the whole cruise and history and the meaning of the rock carving, he even gave my wife the opportunity to steer the boat,it was an memorable experience for me and my family we all enjoyed it very much and would highly recommend it. The crew of the boat was also great, she was also very polite and friendly .. over all the lake cruise was very enjoyable and worth while for the price.. water was crystal clear … and trust me if you get sea sickness from boat and water, you won’t with this cruise, no sea smell or rough boat ride, just an amazing experience not to be missed and will not be disappointed at all…★

A great half day kayaking to the Māori rock carvings. Connell and Glen were great guides with lots of information about the area and a happy friendly manner. They ensured everyone was looked after well. We were able to get really close to the carvings and have a photo too. On the way back we called into the next bay and had a swim in the lake. The guides then made us a hot coffee with biscuits, what a nice and unexpected touch, very welcome after a fresh dip! Would highly recommend kayaking as opposed to a boat trip, felt nice to be in the water and get some exercise and make the effort to get there and back, about 1.5 hours each way. Would be hard on a windy day though.★

The Kindred catamaran was wonderful. We sat in bean bags over the water, very tranquil. The crew were informative and accommodating. The scenery was incredible and the carvings were worth seeing. I would highly recommend this company and cruise to anyone
