Reviews: Cape Town: Table Mountain Cable Car Ticket
Guest User2026-03-03
Great photos at the top of the mountain and unlimited time once there cannot be beat. Take Uber to the lower cable car station, as this is a lot cheaper than tours with included transit to the mountain. Be sure to take photos of the ascending cable car from the best spot - ask the attendant / ranger. The rangers lead free guided tours Mon-Fri, but not on weekends. There is also a self-guided option. Get lunch at the restaurant and recharge your phone. Very fun and a must-see while in Cape Town.

It was a fabulous day starting with the botanical gardens an absolute gem. Our guide Jean was utterly lovely. We had a wonderful wine tasting session at the oldest winery and ended the day with a stroll on the beach at Camps Bay. Wonderful.
