We will begin our adventure in Dresden's beautiful Old Town and the first stop will be the Catholic Court Church that stands as one of Dresden's foremost landmarks. When this cathedral was built, in the 18 th century, the general population of Dresden was protestant but its rulers were catholic. In the crypt the heart of King Augustus the Strong is buried along with the last King of Saxony and the remains of 49 other members of the Wettin family, as well as the remains of people who married into the family, such as Princess Maria Carolina of Savoy, wife of Anthony of Saxony. 20 min(s)

Attractions and Activities: Big courtyard of the Residence / Grosser Schlosshof Dresdner Residenz (At your own expense) We move to the star of our tour: the Dresden Castle, one of the most important examples of Renaissance architecture in Germany. Over more than seven centuries it was the residence of the Electors and Kings of Saxony from the House of Wettin. We shall finish our tour with a view of as the largest porcelain artwork in the world: The Procession of Princes.
