Day 1
Meet at meeting point: Please meet across the street from Ondina Café & Restaurant (not inside the café). Your guide will be wearing a T-shirt with "Oropopo Experience" written on it and will be holding a telescope. The café is closed on weekends, so please don't worry, your guide will always be waiting for you outside.Attractions and Activities: Universidad de Costa Rica (Free entry) We will visit the Campus of the University of Costa Rica, which holds some of the largest patches of forest in the San José Metro Area. On our first stop, we will look for resident and migratory birds, incredible insects and amazing plants and flowers. We'll be talking about art, history, indigenous culture, and most of all, nature. Then, we'll visit the main campus where we will be looking for sloths that live freely and hopefully even see the two different species that inhabit our country. DISCLAIMER: This is not a Recue Center or Sloth Sactuary Tour. You will not be able to touch them, if found, the sloths will be seen in their natural habitat, which means most of the time they will be sleeping on the trees. Still, our experience is your best option at San Jose if you're a true nature lover. This is a 2,5h walking tour, some parts will be exposed to intense sunlight. Not a heavy walk, but please consider your physical condition 2 hr(s)30 min(s)
