Day 1

Meet at meeting point: My new farm is on the main road just a few minutes south of the village Vivlos(Tripodes). Heading south, 30 meters after you pass the Shell gas station (before the Eco station) turn right up onto a paved drive through a metal fence. You can park to the right in front the the blue building.
Join us in our picturesque outdoor natural setting as we delve into the world of marble sculpture. Here, you'll find work tables, blocks of pristine white marble sourced from the island of Naxos, and a collection of locally forged tools. Our experienced instructor Maggie Ross will take you on a journey through the rich history of marble arts, introducing you to various types of tools and discussing the unique properties of marble and other stones. You'll learn the traditional hand carving technique for each tool as you practice on a block of marble for a designated period. Whether you choose to follow one of our Archaic Greek design templates or bring your own idea to life, Maggie will work with you every step of the way, from concept to execution. With no prior experience necessary, this three-hour workshop is perfect for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the art of marble sculpture in a peaceful and serene outdoor setting. Come and discover the beauty and intrigue of this ancient craft! 3 hr(s)30 min(s)
