Directions to the starting point are in the app.Attractions and Activities: Plaza Romita (Free entry How to visit:No indoor visits) The oldest Catholic church built in the Americas, the Santa Maria de la Natividad de Aztacalco can be found at Plaza Romita. It dates back to 1530. This was one of the first places that Catholic priests baptized indigenous Mexicans and was also known as the church of the "good hanging". It was a place where convicted criminals would come to pray for a quick and painless hanging.
Attractions and Activities: Parroquia de la Sagrada Familia (Free entry How to visit:No indoor visits) The construction of the Iglesia de la Sagrada Familia started in 1910 but didn't finish until 1925 because of the Mexican Revolution. The interior of the church has some art nouveau and art deco influences of the time exemplified by the stained glass windows and other decorative accents.
