Attractions and Activities: Douro River (Free entry) On this 2-hour Douro river private sailing cruise you'll experience a different Porto on the water. The meeting point is at Douro Marina in front Deck C and then you'll board on the Argonauta. Once sailing on the water, you'll enjoy the most breathtaking views of Douro river estuary and Porto city, whilst getting a running commentary of famous sites (Arrábida bridge, Dom Luís I bridge, Ribeira, cellars etc). Your 2-hour cruise concludes at Douro Marina situated in the picturesque fishing community called St. Peter of Afurada, here, you can continue visiting this parish at your leisure and own expense. It is an urban parish in the city of Gaia. Afurada is located near the mouth of the Douro river, where it meets the Atlantic Ocean. It is a traditional fishing village and was created as such. Its patron saint is Saint Peter, hence the name São Pedro, the equivalent in Portuguese.
