This former theatre - turned paranormal investigator headquarters - turned nightclub - turned museum has had a long and unique history, going as far back as when this strip was known as Prospect Avenue.
Attractions and Activities: El Capitan Theatre (At your own expense) Built a year before the Chinese Theatre in 1926, El Capitan originally began as a performing arts theatre, putting on live productions and musicals during an era in which film was beginning to dominate. Here you will learn of the many hauntings said to take place to this day, such as the stories of the manager whose face peers down from a window above the entryway and countless others.
