Reviews: Dunedin Nature & City Tour – Full Day Cruise Excursion

The route was well planned, with interesting stops. The only thing I didn't like was that the guide and driver were the same person. At times, it was difficult for him to both drive and tell the story, even though he tried. The bus was large, but we managed to see everything, but we didn't get much information.

Chris our Guide was fabulous, stopped at molars statues, Allans beach where there was heaps of male and female seals. Stopped at Dunedin railway station, Otago Uni, Dunedin Botanical gardens, Baldwin St, then drove to Point Chalmers to drop off passengers for cruise ship. Next drove back to Dunedin past Forsyth barr Stadium, and finally arriving back where the tour stated the Octagon.

My husband and I had a lovely visit to Larnach Castle & gardens, the castle is full of history and the views from the turret are breathtaking. The gardens are beautiful, I would highly recommend a visit to this location.

Toured in a small van to private farm on Otago Peninsula. Our guide Paula was friendly and kind and knows everything about penguins! We visited the fur seal colony and saw sea lions on the beach. Also lots of sheep and lambs, and Paula pointed out the native birds. The landscape is stunningly beautiful. We had a great time.

A fantastic tour with many great viewpoints and a panoramic ride in a new bus. Our guide Jason was superb, very informative, attentive to the guests' wishes, entertaining, and flexible. Highly recommended!

A wonderful discovery: the penguins! The yellow-eyed penguins can be seen in the rehabilitation center. However, you can spot little blue penguins in their little house (well, mostly their bellies) during the walk along the cliff. We also saw one hiding under a tree with a sea lion.
