My husband and I had a lovely visit to Larnach Castle & gardens, the castle is full of history and the views from the turret are breathtaking.

The tour exceeded expectations. We had a film explaining how the site came about, then we visited the rehab centre for sick penguins. Then we visited the rest of the site including hides. We saw yellow eyed penguins, other penguins, seals, birds. A fantastic centre with enthusiastic guides.★

The route was well planned, with interesting stops. The only thing I didn't like was that the guide and driver were the same person. At times, it was difficult for him to both drive and tell the story, even though he tried. The bus was large, but we managed to see everything, but we didn't get much information.★

This was a fabulous tour because our guide was so knowledgeable. She was the most informed guide we have had so far. The small group tour was on a tight schedule with short photo stops to get enough time at the albatross center. There were 2 options for lunch. One was picking up food like meat pies at the grocery and other was a hot meal in the albatross center. We chose to eat meat pies on the bus and glad we did so we didn’t waste time at the center. We also were not aware we needed to pre-purchase additional tickets to the albatross observatory tour. When we arrived, there were no available spots. The pictures the others saw were amazing so we wish we could have done that. The garden stop was to see caged birds so could have skipped that. We would have loved a combined tour to see the nearby penguins and albatross as an option in place of the multiple stops along the way. There may be a tour like that. But this description was accurate for the tour.★

Asta our tour guide was on our wave length with great information and conversation..my sister and I loved every minute of the tour..Asta was very considerate..waiting for us and taking us on different roads, providing a variety of scenery. We had a lot of fun and it was a fabulous tour..highly recommend
