Reviews: Christ the Redeemer & Sugarloaf: Rio City Tour with Lunch

We really enjoyed the tour. We saw all of the places mentioned in the tour description. It was a little fast paced, but if you want to see the major sights of Rio in one day, this is a good tour for it. Monica was an excellent tour guide who explained in multiple languages - English, Spanish, and Italian.

I loved the tour! Our guide, Ray, was exceptional and she told us all about the history and the people living in the favela. It was really fun taking the motorbikes to the top :)

You read so much about the favelas in Brazil so once you visit, it is a must-do. We were led by Carlos who is a top guy and from start to finish , was authentic and knowledgeable. To look down on the rich from the favelas is a mental sea change for many people but it makes sense here. The bike ride up and then the walk down with well placed stops, makes it an insightful couple of hours. If you are in Rio, experience it as not everything you want to take home is the singular memory of great beaches.

Incredible experience especially thanks to Edson, our guide; he not only took us safely through the favelas (starting from the best view of Rio we could ever imagine), he also explained the complicated dynamics of living in a favelas and most importantly he shared his challenging and interesting story with us. Thank you Edson, and Bruno.
