A wonderful visit! Our French-speaking guide gave us a very informative tour of Stone Town. Afterwards, the spice farm was an explosion of aromas and flavors... the meal and fruit tasting were fantastic!

It was a super exciting experience for the whole family (two adults and two kids 10 and 14 years old). The trip had three stops: swimming with dolphins, snorkelling in coral gardens with plenty of colourful fish, and searching for starfish. Every stop was great. We never thought we could swim so close to dolphins. If we were lucky we had them even 1 m from us. Chichi and his captain were very patient with us and searched for the best places to see them as close as possible. They always told us when was the right time to jump into the water to have the best views and experience swimming next to them. Truly amazing! Coral gardens were beautiful with tons of colourful fish around us (sometimes also thanks to the food our captain used to entice them). During the last stop near Mnemba Island, our captain was diving and bringing the starfish on the board. Within less than 5 minutes he has collected four of them. We had a great time with Chichi and his captain during this trip. Chichi is very friendly, and flexible, and provides good tips for snorkelling. He has a very good price (much cheaper than in our hotel). Moreover, we had a private boat only for our family which was also cool. The fruit he offered (pineapple and watermelon) was the best we have tasted during our stay in Zanzibar. We can only recommend going with Chichi for this trip!

Reviews: Zanzibar: Nakupenda Sandbank Day Trip with Snorkeling

We took the 9:30 timeslot. The guide met us and greated us by name. The boat was clean and in a very good condition. It was a short and pleasant cruise across the bay to the sandbank. We were some of the first people to arrive, it was great to have it all to ourselves. They quickly setup up a table, chairs and a gazebo to provide shade. we had enough time to walk around, swim twice with a selection of fruit provided at the table. Overall we are very pleased with the experience and we will remember it as one of our best memories of the trip to Zanzibar.
