Reviews: Catania: Sunset Jeep Tour of Mount Etna and Lava Flow Caves

Wonderful and perfectly organized among the views of the cave, thanks to the snow and Rama's friendliness I would do it again
Reviews: From Catania: Etna Small-Group Tour and Sicilian Tasting
Guest User2026-04-04
The excursion was even better than we expected. It started early, which was a good thing, as we had better visibility of the view from Mount Etna, perfect for photos and the hike. Our guide, Santi, was very helpful and friendly, driving smoothly the whole time and sharing some interesting facts along the way. The walk through the snow was great, and we were certainly lucky to have received a message from Santi the day before reminding us to bring spare socks, as our feet got completely wet. On the way back to Catania, we went for a tasting of local products, which was really nice. I think we made the best choice for this excursion, thank you!
Reviews: Mount Etna and Alcantara Gorges guided tour from Taormina

I really enjoyed the two guides; they were genuinely funny, a lot of fun, and very knowledgeable. Perhaps a bit pricey, but okay.
Reviews: Palermo: Teatro Massimo Opera House Guided Tour

The tour was very interesting, especially because it was in Italian-English, and I have all the respect for the tour guide, who handled the two languages so well. Our tour guide was kind, explained everything accurately, and we could ask questions, which he answered willingly. The tour took about 40 minutes, we could take pictures and we always had some free time to "look around". I recommend it to everyone, because the theater is beautiful! In fact, if you've seen the Godfather movies, it's a must-see! :)
Reviews: Mount Etna and Taormina Full-Day Excursion from Palermo
Guest User2026-03-30
Unfortunately, Mount Etna was closed at short notice by the police due to weather conditions. The drivers made the best of it and took us to Catania and then Taormina instead. Taormina, in particular, was unique and beautiful. Both cities are located at the foot of Mount Etna. Our driver, Mario, was very kind.
