Christian and Omede were the great combo for this tour - a great guide and a fantastic driver, respectively. Christian was very informative and has plenty of narratives during the tour. Omede’s driving skills and navigation of both countries are astounding. If you only have a day to spare, this tour is a great choice because it is timed perfectly in both land and water. There’s so much to see in one day but we had ample of time to see each place!★

The lady at the bike kiosk was really nice and friendly! She spoke to me in French even though it wasn't her official language! The bus doesn't really indicate when you're in Malmö despite it being obvious when you see the city. You have to be attentive★

The tour includes an entrance ticket to the Forbidden City and the Treasure Museum. Your ticket is tied to your passport! Don't forget it. There were 10 of us in our group. Entry through the main southern gate was quick. Pick up your bag for the morning after 9 a.m. The tour lasts about 4 hours. The grounds are so vast that you won't be able to see everything. We visited all the main halls and the gates leading to them, the chambers of Empress Dowager Cixi, the Treasure Museum, and exited through the North Gate. Unfortunately, no one is allowed inside the halls, and it's difficult to see much through the half-open doors and dirty glass. The Treasure Museum was incredibly crowded, so we couldn't get a good look. Chinese New Year was probably a factor. The tour was well organized. Our guide, Alina, was very responsive and helped us not only with the tour but also with other pressing questions. However, I personally missed more detailed historical facts (which is why I took the tour, as audio guides often fail during independent exploration).★

We visited everything that was promised: a photo spot near Lawson (about 15 minutes), almost an hour at the lake, the same at the village, and an hour and a half at the pagoda and shopping street. We were lucky with our guide; Hikari is a fun guy. The only things we weren't so lucky with were the weather and the lack of Fuji in the photo, but that's just fate.★

Overall, well planned and good experience. Tour guide was very helpful and informative. Van was new, large, and clean. We did a private tour and communication was good via WeChat. We were picked up at 8:30am and returned back to the hotel at 7:45pm. It was a long day visiting both Suzhou and Zhouzhuang, but I don’t think it would be worth visiting on two separate days. The reason for only 4 stars was that we were charged an additional 3 hours at 150 RMB/hr. After the booking was confirmed, the tour operator said the tour is only for 8 hours of time even though the description on Trip.com said the tour would be 9am-8pm. Seemed like a bit of a bait and switch. They should just put that on the description if there are additional hourly charges.
