Attractions and Activities: Mdina Mdina was founded over 4000 years ago. It is the oldest fortified medieval town in Malta and sits on top of a hill. Mdina is said to have been where St Paul, the Apostle rested when he was shipwrecked. So if this is to be believed, this is a very ancient city.
