Attractions and Activities: Kapiʻolani Regional Park (Free entry How to visit:No indoor visits) Queen Kapiʻolani Regional Park is the largest and second-oldest public park in Hawaii. In the 1870s, King Kalākaua was asked to find a permanent, dry course for horse racing. On June 11, 1877, the park was dedicated as the first Hawaiian public space. Since 1913, the park has been maintained by the City and County of Honolulu's Department of Parks & Recreation. The park itself also serves as a natural border between Waikiki and Diamond Head neighborhood.

From the parking lot, there's an excellent lookout point so you can see miles of crystal clear water. Attractions and Activities: Nu'uanu Pali (Free entry) Located at an elevation of 1,168 feet, Nuʻuanu Pali is a windward cliff section of Koʻolau Mountain located at the head of the Nuʻuanu Valley . It has a panoramic view of the windward coast of Oʻahu. Also the Nuʻuanu Pali was the site of the Battle of Nuʻuanu, one of the bloodiest battles in Hawaiian history, in which Kamehameha I conquered the island of Oʻahu, bringing it under his rule.
