Reviews: 3-hour wilderness cruise around Tasman Island, Tasmania [optional Port Arthur/Tasmania Devil Zoo]
Guest User2026-01-13
It was a foreign tour group, and the entire tour was conducted in English. The cruise was spectacular; we saw unique landforms, seals, and the biggest surprise was seeing many dolphins. Brunch was simple: coffee and bread. Lunch was sandwiches. We also visited the Port Arthur historical site to see the prison. The environment inside was excellent and very beautiful, just be careful as there was a lot of what looked like kangaroo droppings on the ground. Although we left very early in the morning, we returned early as well, so we weren't too tired.

The itinerary was reasonable, and we strictly followed the itinerary. Pennicott Wilderness Travel Agency provided excellent service.

Our Guide test did a fabulous job. She had outdoor knowledge, kayaking, technical knowledge, and a wonderful demeanor about her. Always happy to answer questions and brought tons of information to our journey to make it more enjoyable. Thank you, Tess.!

The catamaran boattrip was good. The pickup went great. The description said the walk is 3 to 4 hours. This time is for people with a good condition. We did it in 5 hours.
