We enjoyed a coach ride through beautiful countryside on our way to Milford Sound. Our guide was knowledgeable and pointed out things of interest along our route stopping for overlooks and points of interest. When we got to Milford Sound we took a two hour boat cruise through the sound and had a nice hot buffet lunch. The waterfall on the cruise was a highlight! Prepare that you will be in the coach the majority of the trip but with the beautiful views it will feel like it goes quickly!★

I booked one day and went the next. It was a small group with few people, and the foreign driver/guide was beautiful, kind, and incredibly attentive. She provided detailed explanations throughout the trip, stopped at every attraction to take photos for us, and even prepared local plant information and drew a diagram explaining the formation of the fjords. On the way back from the boat, she thoughtfully provided chocolates and umbrellas for when it rained. The customer service was also very patient, assisting us whenever we were worried about getting lost. A great experience!★

Our driver, Baba, was incredibly dedicated. Throughout the trip, he diligently shared information about the sights, local history, and even vividly recounted Maori mythology. The journey was long, but his earnest and responsible sharing made the trip anything but boring.
