It was wonderful! Giorgio, the shop owner, was the most warm and inviting host:) his talents in mask making go well beyond just helping my husband and I create beautiful Venetian masks—he truly is a an incredible artist! His creations are stunning!
I can not recommend visiting his shop & painting Venetian mask enough! It takes the stress away and provides a beautifully meditative atmosphere!
Next time you find yourself on San Marco-stop by, say hi to Giorgio, paint a mask, and unwind! ★

It was a really fun workshop! The lady was very friendly and helped us whenever needed. It was a bit pricey for papier-mâché masks and acrylic paint, but I thought it was worth it. A unique experience with a nice souvenir.★

Such a welcoming space to create a beautiful souvenir for my time in Venice. I had so much fun creating and painting my mask - a memory for all time. My mentors were so informative and encouraging - allowing me to have a go as much as I was comfortable and providing guidance when my creative mind got blocked. I recommend this workshop for all ages and abilities★

I loved everything about this experience. I was lucky enough to be in a class on my own with Melissa. She gave me a great tour of the hot and cold shop and then explained the whole process really well, before providing all the help I needed to make my case. Actually making my own glass vase was an experience I’ll never forget and I’m so grateful for it.
