Our guide was very informative and we enjoyed our visit to the Alcazaba. Unfortunately, it poured with rain, which meant we hurried from points of interest to the next. I'm sure if the weather had been dry, we would have had more time to stop and take in the great views over Malaga. Certainly worth a visit. Some beautiful courtyards and Moorish decoration. The narrow walled pathways and multiple military gates would have made attacks to the fortress very difficult for attacking forces. Much of the upper levels are not open to the public.
We met at the glass pyramid next to the Roman Theatre and our guide talked about the discovery of the ruins, but we were not taken into the area, only viewed from the pavement. It appears that you would pay admission to this separately.★

The guide was very polite and showed us quickly how to operate the Segway’s. He was a great guide in leading us through town and to the different sites. We went at 8:30am so we were able to see all the sites before there was any heavy traffic. It was a wonderful excursion. One of our favorites.★

So good! Our guide José was so nice and we learned a lot. I recommend taking this any day you're in Málaga but especially maybe on the first few days since he gave so many good tips on what to do and see in the city.★
