This should be a must-do if you haven’t been to Mont Saint Michel. The view as you walk up to the Mont is breathtaking and the abbey itself is awe-inspiring. Said to be the second-most visited place in France outside of Paris and one can understand why The drive there from Paris, while long (about 4 and a half hours each way including brief stops) is well organized. We had a comfortable bus, great drivers and a wonderful guide. Special shoutout to our guide Oname, who kept us informed, engaged and interested throughout the trip★

Benjamin was our guide and both my husband and I were so impressed by not only his depth of knowledge and enthusiasm for explaining the history of Notre Dame but the current reality of the reconstruction.
