Reviews: Giethoorn Guided DayTrip from Amsterdam

Geithoorn was on our bucket list since a long time due to its beautiful pictures. This time during our Amsterdam trip, we took this tour. We were transported in a van from city centre to the outskirts and then shifted to a big luxury bus. It took about an hour and half to reach here. We were shifted to a guided boat for canal tour for an hour. What we saw was absolutely stunning. A lot of bridges, very pretty historical houses on both sides, gardens, cafés and few boutique shops. The entire one hour tour was breathtaking. Afterwards we were given two hours free time to wonder around on our own. We tried to explore as much as possible by walking on narrow footpaths and crossing bridges. A great place for photo opportunities. Our guide told us that it is one of the most beautiful villages in Europe. The Mother Nature was at its best.

The hosts were brilliant, laid back and chilled. She told us a bit of history as we went by it, she was so down to earth. Will definitely do it again and recommend this boat to anyone that's looking fir this type of boat
Reviews: Day Tour Zaanse Schans, Lego Village and Giethoorn Incl. Hotel Pick Up

It was a perfect trip. Our guide, Deng, was incredibly professional, providing explanations of everything from the sights to the local customs and culture of the Netherlands, making the trip truly worthwhile. My personal suggestion is that you definitely need a talkative person in the front passenger seat; the more you talk, the better Deng will perform.

Reviews: Netherlands Giethoorn 1-day tour [Small group of 8 people/Chinese/English options + cruise experience]

In fact, when I first started to do the strategy, I saw some friends' posts and felt that I could go by myself, but I found that it was unrealistic to check the bus in the local area. It took most of the day to take the bus anyway, so I booked a day trip. To be honest, it was still a bit expensive. However, the tour and experience are super good. The bus driver has been explaining the history and geography of the Netherlands on the way to Yangjiao Village. The main attractions or buildings seen along the way are also introduced. It is still worth booking a group (by the way, take the bus on the right when you go, Because most of the attractions introduced are on the right). Yangjiao Village is still worth seeing, the houses and water of the whole village form a unique and beautiful and quiet picture.
