Our guide, Hugo , was fantastic. His knowledge was excellent and he spoke perfect English. He had all kinds of interesting facts about the region and wines in general. The small chateau we visited was wonderful and actually preferable to a much larger chateau

Fantastic tailored experience with a great guide! Since I was the only participant that day, Alex provided me with a completely private tour! He is knowledgeable about wine and was very flexible, showing me as many chateaus as possible depending on the situation. During the drive and free exploration time, he gave me just the right amount of space without unnecessary small talk, which made the 5-hour tour very comfortable. (In fact, thanks to the wine and a bit of jet lag, I had a great nap in the car on the way back!) Among the many tour options to Saint-Émilion, this one is relatively low-cost, yet the experience was incredibly refined. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a high-quality visit!

This is a great all day tour for anyone keen on learning about two of the wine regions in Bordeaux. But be warned, they will NOT wait for you if you’re late for the pickup. I got stuck in traffic and got there 15 minutes late - I ended up finding my way to Saint-Emilion to join the group. So plan PLENTY of time to travel to the meeting point. Overall, I learned a lot on the tour. The guide, Valentin, was friendly and so were the guides we met at the various châteaux. Also, the lunch was delicious!


