Reviews: 1-day tour to Taipei Palace Museum + Longshan Temple + Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall + Taipei 101
Guest User2025-04-08
Very satisfied! The tour guide is very professional and kind, and the introduction to each attraction is very in-depth and interesting, which gives me a deeper understanding of Taipei. The itinerary is very smooth, and the movement between the attractions is also very relaxed and comfortable. I especially like to taste food in Yongkang Street and feel the early historical atmosphere of Taiwan in Dihua Street. Every place has its unique charm, and the tour guide is also very good at mastering time and will not feel rushed. Very recommended to friends who come to Taipei for the first time or want to know more about Taipei culture!
Reviews: Kamakura Youth Memories + Enoshima + Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Night View Day Tour Including Enoden Experience
Guest User2025-09-29
Unfortunately, our departure was delayed by more than 45 minutes due to a traffic accident, but thankfully the local guide managed to catch up with the schedule once we were on the road. Our guide, Peter, deserves a special mention. He’s an excellent storyteller, with strong bilingual skills in both Mandarin and English. His commentary was informative, entertaining, and really brought each stop to life. That said, the traffic congestion throughout the day caused us to miss out on fully enjoying some key highlights. We couldn’t explore the Red Brick Warehouse since it closed at 7:00 PM, and we were also disappointed to miss the Ramen Museum, which closed at 6:00 PM. By the time we reached Yokohama, most attractions were already shut. Luckily, we still managed to catch the return cable car ride, which was a nice way to wrap up the day.
Reviews: Soong Ching Ling Memorial Residence In Shanghai + Wukang Mansion + Wukang Road professional tour guide service with headsets
Guest User2026-01-13
I highly recommend this Shanghai cultural guided tour! Following the guide throughout the entire tour not only gave me a clear understanding of the historical context of the Soong Ching Ling Memorial Residence, Wukang Building, and Wukang Road, but also provided a level of professionalism and personalized service that far exceeded my expectations – a truly exceptional experience! The guide, Zhou Junju, was exceptionally professional, far from simply reading from a script. At the Soong Ching Ling Memorial Residence, from the preserved furnishings in the main building and the precious books in the library, to the camphor grove in the courtyard that Soong Ching Ling loved, every detail was vividly and thoroughly explained. She also added many little-known anecdotes, making this great woman's image more lifelike and three-dimensional, not just a cold historical symbol, but a warm and relatable protagonist. Arriving at the Wukang Building, I was truly amazed. The guide meticulously explained its origins as a design by László Hudec, its history as the former Normandy Apartments, and the stories of renowned artists like Zhao Dan and Sun Daolin who once lived there. Even architectural details like the building's three-section facade and vase-shaped railings were explained thoroughly and clearly. Only after listening did I understand why this "giant wheel-shaped" building has become a Shanghai landmark. During our stroll along Wukang Road, the guide also explored the former residences of famous figures like Huang Xing and Ba Jin, tailoring the explanations to our interests without omitting key historical details or becoming overly verbose. What impressed me most was the personalized service. The pace was exceptionally well-managed throughout. When we wanted to take photos, the guide slowed down and thoughtfully pointed out the steps. When we wanted to take more photos of buildings we were interested in, the guide patiently waited and even offered suggestions on the best angles. When someone asked about the architectural style of the old French Concession in Shanghai, the guide answered confidently, sharing relevant historical background with professionalism and patience. The entire trip was not rushed; instead, it offered an immersive cultural experience. Participants appreciated the beauty of the architecture and gained a deeper understanding of Shanghai's century-long history. The professional explanations of the guides transformed these attractions from isolated photo spots into a cohesive narrative of time, making it incredibly worthwhile! I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a deeper understanding of Shanghai's culture; choosing a guided tour is definitely worthwhile!
