I traveled using a Eurail pass. It was cheaper than other sites, including points redemption, so I used it. I recommend it if you travel long distances a lot. I'll definitely consider it for my next trip to Europe.

We enjoyed the two museums we visited. What we didn't like was that it wasn't immediately clear which museums were participating and which were only partially open. The Buddenbrook House was completely closed. A shame. We would have appreciated a better overview and the ability to use the pass accordingly. Otherwise, highly recommended. We also would have liked it if the discounts had been displayed when selecting the pass. As it was, we ordered two passes. The information could be presented more clearly. Nevertheless, thank you, we would recommend the pass. Now we know what to look out for. A bit complicated, but okay. Best regards.

Dean met us at our hotel, and was amazing with his knowledge, insight and enthusiasm. He took us on a walking tour from the oldest to the newest to the churches to the philharmonic and just made Hamburg come alive for us. Definitely ask for Dean!


